The #sheinnovates app was created in support of the UN Women Global Innovation Coalition for Change, a group of over twenty organizations committed to "developing the innovation market to work better for women and to accelerate the achievement of gender equality and women’s empowerment." Built by SAP Next-Gen's technology team, #sheinnovates is meant to connect women from around the globe to life-changing resources and community.

Design.

As I was assigned to the app development team from the start, I had the unique opportunity of helping to craft the app and its promotional video based on the needs of both. It was a great learning experience to judge the needs of both the users of the app and the audience of the video and helped to sharpen my marketing and design skills.

Collaboration.

Creating this promotional video provided the life-changing opportunity to work on the SAP Next-Gen technology team. Working in the SCRUM framework, I was able to gain a detailed look at the app development process. Unfortunately, only a few members of our amazing team are pictured here!

Videography.

Since the app was under development while the video was being created, I had to find ways to fill in the gaps between what the app could currently do and what it would likely do. I utilized Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects to create videos of how the app would eventually function.
