SAP Next-Gen Digital Storytelling

In addition to my video and AV responsibilities at SAP, I also managed the creation and application of the SAP Next-Gen brand across digital storytelling platforms. This included livestreaming, podcasts, traditional video, and motion design.

This particular video serves as an overview of SAP Next-Gen's services.

Innovation

Because of my experience in theater sound and event livestreaming, I was able to bring new practices and techniques to SAP Next-Gen. To diversify the look of videos, I began producing timelapses of events to include in video recaps as well as creating branded motion graphics. My experience with event sound enabled the use of multiple wired and wireless handheld and lapel microphones, and my AV skills updated events with relay monitors and livestreaming.

Consistent Brand Application

Across platforms and formats, it was my responsibility to ensure that SAP Next-Gen was producing a consistently branded story. Thus, I had to create assets for new and existing product lines and services on a variety of digital formats.

Video Branding.

The Science Fiction Thinking branding utilizes the SAP Next-Gen brand colors and typography while integrating science fiction elements through the use of a grid and moving geometric shapes.

Updated Livestreaming.

In collaboration with the events team I created livestream graphics (broadcast before, during, and after events) that complimented the larger event brand. These graphics announced pertinent information such as breaks in programming, speakers, and time until broadcast.

New Techniques.

Utilizing my extensive media production background, I infused SAP Next-Gen's digital storytelling with new techniques such as timelapses (see above), livestreams, video recaps, and motion graphics.
