Process.

Zeffirelli required extensive archival work, biographical research, translations (Italian to English), and rights acquisition. I managed and completed all of these tasks under the guidance of Dena Seidel.

Editing.

Because of the mix of interview footage, archival footage, and footage of past productions, editing this video required extensive storyboarding and outlining to achieve a cohesive output. As a former musician, it was extremely important to me that I incorporated as much of Zeffirelli's production footage as possible, so that his work would have a voice in the film as well.

Purpose.

This video was created to compliment the tour of a traveling exhibit on Franco Zeffirelli. Therefore, I had to ensure that the video not only complimented the branding of the exhibit but also utilized material from the exhibit as well.
